This porridge recipe will honestly make you want to eat porridge for every meal. It’s so perfect, especially over the festive season and really brightens up even the gloomiest of mornings. Carrot cake it one of my favorite desserts, so I’m obsessed with anything that’s even slightly related. Feel free to use whatever milk you prefer.
The Recipe
Step 1
Simply add the ingredients into a sauce pan on a medium heat and constantly stir. Mixture should start to thicken up, allow it to cook for around 10mins until all the liquid has been absorbed and the oats are soft forming a thick and creamy porridge.
Step 2
Add more milk to acquire the desired consistency, I like my porridge super thick.
Step 3
Sprinkle with extra cinnamon and a little grated carrot.

2 cups almond milk
1 grated carrot
1 tbsp date syrup
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp tsp ground ginger
¼ tsp ground nut meg
1 tbsp raisins
